Submitting a FOIA Request
To access public records, a request must be made in writing and provided to the FOIA Coordinator of the public body.
The written request may be transmitted by facsimile, electronic mail, or other electronic means. It must clearly describe what is wanted, including identifying material such as names, places, the time period covered and other documents describing the subject of the inquiry.
A FOIA Coordinator may designate another individual to act on his or her behalf to accept requests for processing.
